Wednesday winners
Last Wednesday the Men & Ladies played a Combined Stableford. The Ladies results were as follows:
– 1st Sandra Winter & Lynette Nel on 60 points
Sandra was the only 2 Club and received a nice lump sum…
The Men’s results were as follows:
– 1st Willie & Arno Van Heerden 68 points
– 2nd Rob Southey & Torben Roug 65 points
Only 1 good golfer obviously, as Josh Johnstone was the sole 2 Club.
Saturday Winner
Saturday was an Individual Stableford and we had quite a number of players. The top 4 players were all tied on 34 points, and after the count-outs, the following as the outcome:
– 1st Herman Hengeveld
– 2nd Mike Brown
– 3rd Adele Van Wyk (go ladies…)
– 4th Gary Berman
– 2 Clubs: Theo Wessels & Schalk Visagie
– Nearest on 12: Cedric O’Reilly
Ladies
Ladies League
The Ladies League team was in action yesterday at George Golf Club, and although they weren’t victorious, they are a strong team and I am sure they will bounce back next time.
Congratulations to Desiree Geldenhuys & Sonja Bland, who have both been chosen for the Southern Cape Team for the upcoming Inter-provincial at Centurion Golf Club. Fancourt Ladies in the mix again, good job ladies.
