According to a new survey conducted by Public Policy Polling, respondents overwhelmingly chose Justin Timberlake as the musician they’d like to see in the Oval Office, with 34% of those polled choosing the 32-year-old crooner as a pick for prez! Well, he has proven that he looks pretty good in a suit and tie!
Also high on the list, Adele (who’s British and can’t even be president!) and Beyonce, who were named as potential White House residents by 19% and 14% of those surveyed, respectively. One thing the divided political parties have in common: Their mutual hatred for Justin Bieber! Of all the artists mentioned in the poll of 571 voters, the Biebs was the only singer who is disliked by Democrats (54%), Republicans (56%) and Independents (56%) alike!”-(Credit:Yahoo)
Yes I’m aware that I write about JT an unhealthy amount but did you honestly think I’d pass up on this? The people have spoken. They want JT as president and they want him as president now. Somewhere JC Chasez quietly weeps in his room. You know what’s funny though? While people are screaming “JT for president” there is something else one could notice. Usher’s name is nowhere to be seen. He’s not in the top 3 for music stars the people want as president….and not in the top 3 for least wanted as president either. Let’s review real quickly here. Usher is not liked enough to be wanted as music’s representation in the White House yet people don’t care about him enough to vote against him either. It’s almost like Usher is a non-entity in this musical political race and thus life. Yea, to the layman this may seem like some stupid poll but to me it really represents Americas true feelings about the great Usher vs JT debate…..and I gotta say….It really doesn’t look too good for Usher. Chalk another one up for King Timberlake. Is it just me….or is anyone else starting to feel bad for Usher in this one?
