A short while ago Helen Glover and Heather Stanning became the first British female rowers to win a gold medal.
Now normally we hate stories based around what the ‘celebs’ have been tweeting but we thought we’d make an exception because apparaz this is a big moment in history and everyone likes a bit of Olympics, don’t they?
Adele took to Twitter to lead the congratulations to the two women who have won the first gold medal for Team GB.
She wrote: “Go on girls! Congrats Helen and Heather, sooo happy for you! Our 1st gold medalists 
.”
Shortly afterwards loadsa other celebs also took to Twitter to say well done. Coleen Rooney wrote: “Just got abit emotional then!!! GB women rowing GOLD!!! Fantastic, well done ladies.”
Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh wrote: “This is so exciting!!! #GoldWednesday”
Meanwhile Team GB men’s eight rowing just got bronze. Yay Team GB, Team GB, Team GB, yeah you get the idea.
