We'd love to have Adele sing at our wedding. And we'd love to be getting married to a musician who makes really great songs and sings them with loads of passion. And we'd love to be Carey Mulligan.
That's why we're properly, big-time jealous of the rumours that the Drive actress will have superstar Adele to sing at her wedding!
The Sun reports that Carey and fiance Marcus Mumford, of Mumford & Sons, are due to marry today, and that the 21 singer will grace the stage at the nuptials. A source told the paper: "Carey and Marcus are both huge fans of Adele and there will be millions of couples jealous that she is singing for them."
Too right! The source added: "Adele has always wanted to work with Mumford & Sons so when Marcus asked her to play at his wedding she said yes." Grrr.
And we're not only jealous because Adele's singing for them, but because this will be one of the very few gigs she's done this year after undergoing surgery on her throat: "Adele has not been able to perform much at all since her throat op so it's a rare gig. It's meant to be a secret but the couple were so excited they've let it slip."
