by Adele Recently, I've been trying to be good & cut out chocolate. The result is that I've been in desperate need of a chocolate fix! And so yesterday I caved in!
Chocolate brownies are uncomplicated & quick to make, so are perfect for an impromptu naughty treat! I can recommend either this recipe (which I followed today), or this recipe with raspberries (which I've made in the past). The secret to a good homemade chocolate brownie is not to overcook them - they should be soft & springy on the outside & gooey on the inside...best served warm.
Hopefully you can see the lovely gooey middle I was talking about!
Served with a dollop of creme fraiche, topped off with some orange zest.
