Wedding bells were ringing today (April 21) as Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford tied the knot in Somerset, England in front of 100 of their closest friends. Celebrities on the guest list included Sienna Miller , Colin Firth and Jake Gyllenhaal along with the couples other friends and family while one special guest was honored with singing at their wedding. According to The Sun, Adele was chosen to be the musical backdrop for the newly married couple's reception. "Carey and Marcus are both huge fans of Adele and there will be millions of couples jealous that she is singing for them," a source told the paper. "Adele has always wanted to work with Mumford & Sons so when Marcus asked her to play at his wedding she said yes." Mumford & Sons lead man proposed to the "Drive" actress only five months after the two started dating. The two were both attached before meeting and the Oscar-nominated actress split with longtime boyfriend Shia LaBeouf last October and the 24-year-old singer broke up with singer Laura Marling in late 2010. "They're a great couple," a couple's friends told Us of the duo who were childhood pen pals in London. "Very sweet." Things got serious after the couple met at a Mumford & Sons show that Miss Mulligan attended with her good friend, Jake. "At the end of the night there were just the musicians, Jake, Carey, and the Mumford boys," a source revealed. "We had some pizza, and just played music. Jake picked up a guitar and Carey joined in on 'Amazing Grace.' Marcus and Carey seemed really friendly." After that night, the two were seen out and about as a couple, and the rest is history!
