The Billboard Music Award finalists have been announced, and they're basically the usual suspects. The better question is, who has the lead going in?
Adele's name appears in 18 different categories, including the coveted Top Artist category, where she will compete against Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry and Rihanna (who was the leading finalist last year). Meanwhile, electro-pop duo LMFAO is a finalist in 17 award categories, including Top Duo/Group and Top Hot 100 Artist.

But there are plenty of artists to choose from. Nicki Minaj?s "Barbz" will surely be rooting for her in the Top Female Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist categories, and Bruno Mars is a finalist in several categories, including Top Male Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
