Rising music star Adele picked up more accolades on Tuesday, but her big night at the Brit Awards was capped by controversy.
Adele flipped the bird in frustration after she was cut off during her acceptance speech for the Best Album award.
Apparently singer-songwriter Damon Albarn's rambling acceptance speech had put the show behind schedule, and Adele was not allowed to say more than a few sentences as producers tried to make up for lost time.
"Sorry if I offended anyone, but the people in suits offended me," Adele said after the show, The Mirror of London reported. "I wasn't swearing at the fans, but I didn't get to complete my thank-you speech!"
